By booking a reservation with Whistler Platinum, you agree to all policies, terms, and conditions below.

Booking and Cancellation Policies

60-DAY BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY (valid for stays starting from Dec 1, 2023)

Book more than 60 days before arrival: Pay a deposit of 50% of rent plus the associated taxes at booking. Pay the remaining balance 60 days before arrival. You may cancel within 48 hours of booking and receive a full deposit refund. After 48 hours, if you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date, you can receive 100% of the deposit paid as a Future Stay Credit to use for a new trip within 24 months of the original stay date, or you can receive a refund of the deposit less a 50% penalty. Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable. See the Book With Confidence program for exceptions.

Book 60 days or less before arrival: Pay 100% at booking. For bookings made more than 10 days before arrival, you may cancel within 48 hours of booking and receive a full refund. After 48 hours, payment is non-refundable, and you will not be eligible for a Future Stay Credit or a refund. See the Book With Confidence program for exceptions.

BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Book With Confidence program protects against the following coronavirus-related events: unforeseen Extended Whistler Blackcomb Closure and International Border Closures. If your trip is affected by coronavirus-related events and you need to cancel, we will work with you to ensure your trip is either rescheduled, credited towards a future stay, or refunded less a 50% penalty. Pre-existing travel restrictions or other conditions that occurred before the time of booking do not qualify under the Book With Confidence program.

Extended Whistler Blackcomb Closure (Nov 23, 2023 – Apr 8, 2024) must be due to a coronavirus-related event and considered a complete closure of the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort for the duration of your vacation. Resort closures due to weather or avalanche conditions are not covered under this policy.

International Border Closure must be a new government-imposed border closure prohibiting travel from your home country or into Canada. Pre-existing restrictions at the time of reservation are not eligible under Book with Confidence.

How to Cancel. Before you cancel, check that your circumstance is included in the list of covered events and that you can provide any required documentation. If your circumstance meets one of the requirements, contact us to cancel your reservation. We’ll confirm if our Book With Confidence program applies to your reservation and offer you a 100% Future Stay Credit to use for a new trip within 24 months of the original stay date or a refund minus a 50% penalty and associated taxes in Canadian dollars to your original form of payment. A credit or refund will not be available after you check in.

Minimum Age Requirement

The minimum age requirement for 4+ Bedroom units is 30 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age requirement for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units is 25. Guests can be denied check-in if they do not meet the minimum age policy.

Maximum Occupancy and Visitors

Only the number of adults and children listed in your reservation are permitted to stay in the property.

Property Damage Protection Plan

The Property Damage Protection Plan is a one-time per-reservation non-refundable fee that provides a damage waiver that covers accidental or inadvertent damages to the rental home like carpet spills, broken glasses or kitchenware, and stains on furniture. This damage waiver is provided by and administered by Whistler Platinum and is not an insurance policy. The value waived is based on the property size and location and is outlined below.
$29 Provides up to $1,000 damage protection
$49 Provides up to $1,700 damage protection
$69 Provides up to $3,000 damage protection
$99 Provides up to $5,000 damage protection

Pre-Authorization

Whistler Platinum will process a pre-authorization of $150.00 on a valid credit card at check-in. Guest (s) will either be required to sign a credit card authorization slip for the amount of the security deposit or enter their PIN for CHIP enabled credit cards. Cheques will not be accepted. The Manager may capture part or all of the security deposit to cover costs for excess cleaning, property damage, missing inventory, and noise violation fines imposed by strata or the municipality.

Extra Person Charges

Rates are based on the designated number of guests for the property. Adults sleeping on a pull out sofa bed in the property or requiring a rollaway bed will incur extra charges as follows: $50.00 CAD per person per night plus taxes. There is no additional fee for children under 18 years of age. All properties are able to accommodate at least one baby cot for infants. If the property you have rented has King Split bed(s), please indicate on the Pre Arrival form whether you wish the bed(s) to be made as 1 King or as 2 Twins. Guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of a property. The maximum occupancy is clearly noted on each property page.

Check-in/Check-out Times

Rates are based on the designated number of guests for the property. Adults sleeping on a pull out sofa bed in the property or requiring a rollaway bed will incur Please note that check-in is from 4 pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 10 am on your day of departure. If you would like to guarantee a late check out or early check in, consider adding an additional day to your reservation. We are seldom able to grant early check-ins or late check-outs during peak seasons.

Currency and Tax

All rates are quoted and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD$). In the event of tax alterations by the government, Whistler Platinum reserves the absolute right to collect the revised tax without prior notice.

Garbage

Each complex has a garbage room. It is the responsibility of the guest to remove garbage. To protect wildlife in Whistler please do not leave garbage outside.

Guest Pre-Arrival Forms

Whistler Platinum must receive completed guest pre-arrival forms with requested bed configurations, the number of people staying in the property and expected time of arrival a minimum of 15 days prior to arrival date, or reservation may be subject to cancellation.

Hot Tubs

Whistler Platinum ensures that all private hot tubs are maintained regularly. Guest use hot tubs at their own risk. The strata management company for the complex maintains communal hot tubs. If you experience any problems, please call our office. Occasionally, tubs may need to be shut down for maintenance. This maintenance is unavoidable and is to protect the health of users, which may result in the hot tub not being available for an extended period of time. If a hot tub is not able to be used due to mechanical failures for longer than 24 hours, the guest will be entitled to a 10% reduction in the nightly rent for all nights affected. For common and communal hot tubs, this amount is capped at $100 per night affected.

Liability Disclaimer

Prices for Accommodation and packages are subject to change without notice, and reservations are based on availability. The information, products, and services published on this website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. In the event that Accommodation or packages are listed or provided to us at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or other error in pricing information, Whistler Platinum Reservations Ltd expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or on pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such event, if available, we will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or we will cancel your pending reservation without penalty.

Limit of Liability

The booking guest and all members of the said guest’s party (the “Guests”) agree to conform to all notices, rules and instructions in and about the home. Guests are responsible for their own conduct and that of any invitees. Manager reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or interrupt occupancy in the event of any non-fulfilment or breach of rental conditions. Neither the Property Owner nor Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability.

A confirmed reservation by e-mail constitutes notice to Guests of these exclusionary terms and Guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and Whistler Platinum, from any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof.

Should the property become uninhabitable or unavailable, Manager reserves the right to substitute another property for the one which has been booked, with every attempt made to provide a property or properties of similar or better quality. A confirmed reservation by email constitutes notice to Guests of these terms and they are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing and to have irrevocably authorized Whistler Platinum accordingly.

Multiple Properties

Please note that all properties are privately-owned and are equipped according to the individual owner’s taste and requirements. Groups renting more than one property need to make sure inventory stays in the property. A restocking charge will be deducted from the security deposit if items have been moved to other properties.

Non-Smoking

All of our properties are non-smoking. We ask that you respect this rule for the comfort of all guests. A $500 additional housekeeping fee will be imposed for any violation.

Parking

Every unit has assigned parking. Most properties accommodate parking for only one or two vehicles. Please ensure that you are parked in the correct stall assigned to your unit. Parking elsewhere may lead to your car being towed at your own expense. If someone has incorrectly occupied your assigned stall, please use a VISITOR stall and contact our office immediately. Please note that all complexes are privately owned and managed and Whistler Platinum cannot guarantee that your car will not be towed if parking procedures are not followed.

**Please note that paid parking is applicable for all units in Le Chamois Hotel, The Aspens, and Glacier Lodge and is payable by the guest on site.

Pets

Pets are permitted only in designated pet-friendly properties. We ask that you leave your pets at home as they will be refused entry to a non-designated property. There will be a $500 fine for any pets or evidence of pets found in any non-designated pet-friendly units.
