Booking Policies and Terms
By booking a reservation with Whistler Platinum, you agree to all policies, terms, and conditions below.
Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for 4+ Bedroom units is 30 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age requirement for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units is 25. Guests can be denied check-in if they do not meet the minimum age policy.
Maximum Occupancy and Visitors
B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer issued an order on July 27, 2020, limiting the size of social gatherings and events in vacation accommodations, including the associated deck, garden or yard, when used for vacation purposes, to no more than five (5) people, in addition to the occupants.
Only the number of adults and children listed in your reservation are permitted to stay in the property. A maximum of five visitors may attend a social gathering in the accommodation but are not permitted to stay overnight.

Summer Cancellation Policy
Valid for arrivals between May 1 and October 31, 2020
We process a 30% deposit to confirm the booking and the remaining balance 14 days prior to arrival. You may cancel or change your stay and receive a 100% refund up to 14 days prior to arrival. We process full payment for bookings made within 14 days of arrival. The booking is non-refundable inside 14 days.
Winter Cancellation Policy
Valid for arrivals on or after November 1 (excluding December 15, 2020 to January 1, 2021)
We process a 30% deposit plus the service fee to confirm the booking and the remainder of the payment 30 days prior to arrival. You may cancel or change your stay and receive a 100% credit for a future stay or a refund of the deposit (less the service fee) up to 30 days prior to arrival. We process full payment for bookings made within 30 days of arrival.
* The booking is non-refundable inside 30 days.
Festive Cancellation Policy
Valid for arrivals between December 15, 2020 to January 1, 2021
We process a 30% deposit plus the service fee to confirm the booking and the remainder of the payment 60 days prior to arrival. You may cancel or change your stay and receive a 100% credit for a future stay or a refund of the deposit (less the service fee) up to 60 days prior to arrival. We process full payment for bookings made within 60 days of arrival.
* The booking is non-refundable inside 60 days.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and bank transfers. Payments are non-refundable once processed.
* Travel Restrictions
Cancellations made after the cancellation cut-off date are typically non-refundable. If formal government travel restrictions or quarantine laws impact either the ability to leave your country or to enter Canada for the dates of your travel, we are enabling you to, without penalty, receive a 100% credit for payments made to be applied to a future stay in any Whistler Platinum property, within 12 months of original stay date, or receive a full refund of payments made (less the service fee) to your original form of payment. Stays booked with credit must start within 365 days of the original check-in date.
Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and rate differences. If your new booking is less expensive than the original reservation, you will not receive a reimbursement for the difference.
Property Damage Protection Plan
The Property Damage Protection Plan is a one-time per-reservation non-refundable fee that provides a damage waiver that covers accidental or inadvertent damages to the rental home like carpet spills, broken glasses or kitchenware, and stains on furniture. This damage waiver is provided by and administered by Whistler Platinum and is not an insurance policy. The value waived is based on the property size and location and is outlined below.
$29 Provides up to $1,000 damage protection
$49 Provides up to $1,700 damage protection
$69 Provides up to $3,000 damage protection
$99 Provides up to $5,000 damage protection
Whistler Platinum will process a pre-authorization of $150.00 on a valid credit card at check-in. Guest (s) will either be required to sign a credit card authorization slip for the amount of the security deposit or enter their PIN for CHIP enabled credit cards. Cheques will not be accepted. The Manager may capture part or all of the security deposit to cover costs for excess cleaning, property damage, missing inventory, and noise violation fines imposed by strata or the municipality.
Extra Person Charges
Rates are based on the designated number of guests for the property. Adults sleeping on a pull out sofa bed in the property or requiring a rollaway bed will incur extra charges as follows: $50.00 CAD per person per night plus taxes. There is no additional fee for children under 18 years of age. All properties are able to accommodate at least one baby cot for infants. If the property you have rented has King Split bed(s), please indicate on the Pre Arrival form whether you wish the bed(s) to be made as 1 King or as 2 Twins. Guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of a property. The maximum occupancy is clearly noted on each property page.
Currency and Tax
All rates are quoted and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD$). In the event of tax alterations by the government, Whistler Platinum reserves the absolute right to collect the revised tax without prior notice.
Additional equipment such as cots, high chairs, cribs and other equipment is available for rent. Such equipment must be reserved in advance. Delivery and pick-up charges will apply.
Each complex has a garbage room. It is the responsibility of the guest to remove garbage. To protect wildlife in Whistler please do not leave garbage outside.
Guest Pre-Arrival Forms
Whistler Platinum must receive completed guest pre-arrival forms with requested bed configurations, the number of people staying in the property and expected time of arrival a minimum of 15 days prior to arrival date, or reservation may be subject to cancellation.
Whistler Platinum ensures that all private hot tubs are maintained regularly. Guest use hot tubs at their own risk. The strata management company for the complex maintains communal hot tubs. If you experience any problems, please call our office. Occasionally, tubs may need to be shut down for maintenance. Such maintenance is unavoidable and is to protect the health of users.
Your property will be fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival with fresh sheets, towels and amenities. For guests staying eight nights or longer a complimentary mid stay clean and linen change will be scheduled. Laundry facilities are available at all properties either in-suite or in the building. Additional housekeeping services, including daily service, can be arranged for an additional fee and subject to availability.
Internet and Telephones
Wireless Internet access and all local telephone calls are free.
Prices for Accommodation and packages are subject to change without notice, and reservations are based on availability. The information, products, and services published on this website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. In the event that Accommodation or packages are listed or provided to us at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or other error in pricing information, Whistler Platinum Reservations Ltd expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or on pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such event, if available, we will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or we will cancel your pending reservation without penalty.
Limit of Liability
The booking guest and all members of the said guest’s party (the “Guests”) agree to conform to all notices, rules and instructions in and about the home. Guests are responsible for their own conduct and that of any invitees. Manager reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or interrupt occupancy in the event of any non-fulfilment or breach of rental conditions. Neither the Property Owner nor Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability.
A confirmed reservation by e-mail constitutes notice to Guests of these exclusionary terms and Guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and Whistler Platinum, from any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof.
Should the property become uninhabitable or unavailable, Manager reserves the right to substitute another property for the one which has been booked, with every attempt made to provide a property or properties of similar or better quality. A confirmed reservation by email constitutes notice to Guests of these terms and they are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing and to have irrevocably authorized Whistler Platinum accordingly.
Please note that all properties are privately-owned and are equipped according to the individual owner’s taste and requirements. Groups renting more than one property need to make sure inventory stays in the property. A restocking charge will be deducted from the security deposit if items have been moved to other properties.
All of our properties are non-smoking. We ask that you respect this rule for the comfort of all guests. A $500 additional housekeeping fee will be imposed for any violation.
Every unit has assigned parking. Most properties accommodate parking for only one or two vehicles. Please ensure that you are parked in the correct stall assigned to your unit. Parking elsewhere may lead to your car being towed at your own expense. If someone has incorrectly occupied your assigned stall, please use a VISITOR stall and contact our office immediately. Please note that all complexes are privately owned and managed and Whistler Platinum cannot guarantee that your car will not be towed if parking procedures are not followed.
**Please note that paid parking is applicable for all units in Le Chamois Hotel, The Aspens, and Glacier Lodge and is payable by the guest on site.
Pets are permitted only in designated pet-friendly properties. We ask that you leave your pets at home as they will be refused entry to a non-designated property. There will be a $500 fine for any pets or evidence of pets found in any non-designated pet-friendly units.
Adequate quantities of towels will be provided for the number of people booked. Delivery of extra towels is available, upon request.
