Soft winter light settles across the evergreens as you step into this quiet Whistler retreat, where crisp mountain air gives way to the warmth of an indoor fireplace and the calm of a forest setting. After days on the slopes, the townhouse offers a gentle place to unwind, letting you slow down and enjoy the stillness that winter brings. Tucked among the trees yet connected to seasonal ski access, it provides a peaceful balance of seclusion and convenience.

Living spaces
The open-concept living area creates an inviting place to gather after time outdoors, with a sectional sofa beside the indoor fireplace and a TV for evenings spent relaxing in the glow of the flames. Vaulted ceilings and large windows frame the surrounding evergreens, while heating and portable fans help maintain a comfortable atmosphere throughout your stay.

Kitchen and dining
A well-equipped kitchen supports simple breakfasts before heading to the mountain and cozy dinners shared at the dining table that seats six. With an in-unit washer and dryer available, longer stays and multi-day ski trips become easy to manage.

Sleeping arrangements
Up to six guests can settle into three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, closet, and a small patio, along with an ensuite bathroom that includes a shower, bathtub, and single vanity. On the main level, two additional bedrooms each offer a king-split bed that can be arranged as needed. A second bathroom with a shower and single vanity serves this floor.

Outdoor living and amenities
A private patio provides a quiet spot to pause between outings, complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill. Within the Painted Cliff complex, the shared hot tub offers a welcome way to unwind after ski days. A mudroom with a ski rack streamlines your return from the mountain, and designated bike storage is available in the underground parking garage.

Access and location
Seasonal ski access via Merlin’s Run links you to the Blackcomb Gondola and Magic Chair when conditions allow, giving you a smooth start to winter adventures. While Whistler Village remains within reach for dining stops and essentials, the townhouse stays nestled among evergreens for peaceful evenings away from the busier areas.

Wifi, a dedicated workspace, and essential home safety features support a comfortable winter retreat. Towels, bed linens, and other essentials are provided, ensuring you have what you need for a calm and convenient stay in Whistler.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.

Guest Access

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. One designated parking space is provided in the underground parkade, along with access to the complex’s outdoor hot tub. Check-in is fully contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

The Neighbourhood

Tucked into the forested slopes of Blackcomb Mountain, Painted Cliff offers a serene ski-in/ski-out setting just minutes from the heart of Whistler. The peaceful location blends alpine seclusion with easy access to cafés, après-ski lounges, and the vibrant atmosphere of Whistler Village.

• 2-minute walk to Merlin’s ski run
• 15-minute walk to the Village Stroll
• 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive to Fresh Street grocery store
• 15-minute walk to Upper Village
• 15-minute walk to Chateau Fairmont Golf Course

• 2-minute walk to the Free Upper Village Shuttle #5 - exit the Painted Cliff complex, cross the road, and the shuttle stop is on your right-hand side, bringing you to both mountain bases and Whistler Village

Other Things To Note

• Stairs. You are required to climb approximately 12 stairs to enter this home
• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms
• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home
• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am
• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

Excellent location
Property was clean and nicely appointed. Beds were comfortable. Easily accommodates 6 people. Parking was very accessible for both visitor and guests. Good proximity to golf and Whistler and quiet.

Fabulous Stay at Painted Cliff!
We loved our accommodations at Painted Cliff! The location is perfect! The ski in and ski out feature was amazing…you are at the Blackcomb gondola within minutes of leaving the townhouse. This unit is also just steps from the bus stop, which takes you to both villages. We loved the amenities within the condo as well. The kitchen is well-stocked, tile floor are heated throughout and the bed configuration was ideal for our family of five. Highly recommend!!

Painted Cliff 11 hosted our family for a ski trip this year, and it was great! The bus pickup was just in front of the condo entrance and the slopes were a couple hundred yards at the other end of the complex. In other words, very accessible, even for our younger skiers (ages 8 and 11). However, they could have been clearer regarding the hot tub NOT being private. It is private to the whole complex, not private to the unit - I even asked about that ahead of time. The kitchen could use more amenities, such as place mats, a crock pot, more utensils, etc. Also, it would have been nice if more had been left behind one in the spices department instead of tossed before our arrival. If these small things are fixed, we will definitely be coming back!

Spacious and comfortable home.
Six friends stayed for a weekend in this large, well appointed home. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, which was fabulous for group dinners. The check-in, check-out process was a breeze, with Whistler Platinum staff on hand for help the whole time. Thanks you team! The free, summer, shuttle bus from the village was handy and convenient although the walk down to Lost Lake early one morning was just wonderful and worth the hill climb after! We found the hot tub (by unit #28) and it was nicely situated overlooking forests, but it wasn't very hot (I think it had just been topped up) so unfortunately we didn't use it. Also, some chairs or loungers on the hot tub deck would be nice as the only other option was to sit on the ground. With the two lower bedrooms set up as twins and the very comfy couch used, all six of us had a bed to ourselves, which was fabulous and much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Excellent value, comfortable space and peaceful setting away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the village! What a wonderful time!

Beautiful, slopeside on Backcomb AND close to Lost Lake
The townhome was gorgeous and in a great location. Our puppy enjoyed his stay too - close to Lost lake for late night dips and walks, right on the mountain for biking. Clean, well-stocked, and beautifully furnished. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Rental for my friend's family of 6
I rented the place for my friend. It's a family of 6. With my family hanging out here during the day, we had a maximum of 11 people in this townhouse, but still fit us all. The decor was nice. Kids said the beds were very comfy. The view of the mountains were amazing. The cleanliness of the home was beyond expectation! The tv could be bigger though (complaints from the kids)

Second Home
We call this place our second home. This is our second time to stay in this unit. The location is very convenient to Main Village by walking or by free shuttle bus. It is spacious, clean and have a lovely views of the mountain. We recommend this unit

Great place for 3 couples,plenty of room and everything we needed. Convenient to frequent bus service and very short walk to the slopes. Chose not to use the hot tub as temps in the -20's made the walk to it undesirable.Whistler Platinum always hepful and prompt at sorting out any queries.

Perfect Place
This was a perfect gathering place for our family of 5 (grandparents, parents and 8 year old). We were there during a real cold snap but that did not discourage our skiers. It is pretty much ski in/ski out. Right by the bus stop to.
