Fairmont Whistler Golf Course

Is Whistler Canada’s Top Golf Destination?

We invite you stay and play with us to judge for yourself

Snow-capped mountains surround long fairways leading towards manicured greens, the scene paints the picture of what golf in Whistler is all about. Courses traverse creeks, ponds, stands of ancient Douglas fir and granite rock, offering a unique mountain golf experience. A chance bear spotting is common in these neck of the woods, especially in the spring when bears descend into the valley looking for food after a winter of hibernation. It’s nature’s way of slowing things down around here. After all, what better way to take a moment than to have a bear wander across the fairway you’re teeing up on. It’ll make you pause, take it all in, and relax while she moves on. It’s a site that makes for lasting memories.

Located in the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, a 1.5 hour drive north of Vancouver, Whistler has a lot to offer the recreational and avid golfer. Five pristine courses await; four of which have been built by the world’s top designers. All five courses are easily accessible either by foot or vehicle, depending on which one you’re looking to tackle first. If you’re staying in the Village, the nearest is Whistler Golf Course located on the west side of Highway 99 and accessible via the Highway 99 underpass. The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a short hop and a skip away from the Village, near the base of Blackcomb – directly across from the hotel. Meanwhile Nicklaus North is located a short 5-minute drive north of the Village. The remaining two, Big Sky and Pemberton Meadows, are a scenic 25-minute drive north of Whistler in the stunning Pemberton Valley. There are also two driving ranges located in town; one located directly across from the Hilton and the second at Nicklaus North Golf Club. With so many options, the hardest will be to choose where to begin.
