Permanent Daylight Savings and Your Whistler Blackcomb Experience
British Columbia’s move to permanent Daylight Saving Time (UTC-7) will bring some changes to Whistler Blackcomb’s operating hours for Winter 2026/27. From opening day, planned for November 20, through January 15, most valley and alpine lifts are expected to operate from 9 AM – 3:30 PM, shifting 30 minutes later to better align with available daylight. Most Snow School lessons will also start and finish 30 minutes later during this period. As daylight increases, lift operations are planned to return to traditional hours in mid-February, while spring hours will remain unchanged. Guests participating in seasonal or specialty programs will receive details directly from Whistler Blackcomb.
