Winter Family Activities
During the winter season, the Resort Municipality of Whistler hosts a series of FREE events for family visitors. Family-friendly events are held outdoors and subject to weather conditions. These activities are a great way to spend quality time with your family without breaking the bank.
Whistler Family Après
Whistler Family Apres is held twice a week during the winter season and offers families an opportunity to participate in organized outdoor activities, including, skating, tobogganing, a snow maze and more.
Skating at Whistler Olympic Plaza
The Whistler Olympic Plaza offers outdoor skating seven days a week during the winter months. Alternatively, you can skate at Meadow Park or outside on a lake when conditions permit.
Fire and Ice Show
Watch world-class athletes flipping and twisting through a burning ring of fire and finish with a first class fireworks display. The Fire and Ice Show is performed by top members of Whistler Blackcomb’s Ski & Snowboard School. Free event.
